Ogun HoS Charges Workers On Commitment To Work Ethics

Ogun State Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro has charged workers to show more commitment to work and discharge their duties effectively, in order to put the State on a higher pedestal.
Dr. Aigoro who stated this in Abeokuta during a courtesy visit by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ogun State Chapter and one of its affiliates, the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, said that the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration has invested in every sector of the State’s economy.
The HoS appreciated the Union for their understanding on the issues raised, urging them to continue to pray and support the present government.
” I want to specially thank you for the visit and your understanding. All the issues raised are not recent. Though government is continuous, we will try as much as possible to resolve them by God’s grace. I want workers in the State to continue supporting the present administration, show more commitment to work and discharge duties efficiently and effectively”, he said.
Speaking earlier, the NLC Chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Bankole, explained that the purpose of the visit was to felicitate and wish the HoS a successful tenure, saying, “God has a reason for selecting him, which would eventually put smiles on the faces of Ogun workers”.
In the same vein, the HoS played host to the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Ogun State Branch, led by its Chairman, Mrs. Roseline Solarin, appreciating God for making Dr. Aigoro, the number one Civil Servant in the State, calling on the government to help the Union in the area of manpower shortage, upward adjustment of their salaries and to put a stop to the brain drain of medical workers in the country.
