EKSG Receives Thousands Doses Of COVID 19 Vaccines
Ekiti State Government on Tuesday received several doses of Covid- 19 Vaccines from the Federal Government.
Receiving the Vaccines at the Akure Airport, the Commissioner for Health and Human Services Dr Oyebanji Filani disclosed that the State Government would commence the Vaccination in line with the guidelines laid down by the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
Dr Filani further hinted that the Vaccination would be kick-started by the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi tomorrow, Wednesday 10th of March, 2021.
The Commissioner noted that the state Government had designated some States Specialist and General Hospitals as well as
Primary Healthcare Centres across the States that would be used for the Vaccination.
He assured that the arrival of the Vaccines marked the beginning of the end of the pandemic that had disrupted lives and activities in the last one year.
