Osun SDP Restate Commitment To Coalition Agreement With APC

Osun State chapter of the Social Democratic Party SDP has restated its commitments to the coalition agreement reached with the All Progressives Congress APC to midwife the victory of Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola as governor of Osun State.

A communique made available to newsmen in Osogbo Sunday by the party’s spokesman, Mr. Taiwo Akeju after an extra ordinary meeting of the state working committee and stakeholders of the party passed vote of confidence in the leadership of Senator Iyiola Omisore and Dr Yemi Farounbi in the state.

The stakeholders therefore directed the state working committee of the party to liaise with relevant organs of APC and collaborate towards ensuring a hitch free inauguration of the incoming administration and effective take-off of governance.

The party re-affirmed its commitment to the goals, ideals and objectives of SDP but aligned itself with the five pillars agreement reached with APC in the state to ensure good governance, stability and progress of Osun state.

Osun SDP expressed loyalty and confidence in the state working committee of the party under the leadership of the chairman, Dr. Bayo Faforiji.

Recalled that the SDP and the APC in Osun worked together to ensure victory for the candidate of the APC GboyegaOyetola at the governorship rerun election held on September 27, 2018.
