Plateau Governor Emerges Chairman Of Northern Governors Forum

Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong, on Friday, has emerged chairman of the Northern Governors Forum for another four years.

He was elected by his colleagues during the meeting of the forum which held in Kaduna.

Lalong was re-elected as the Plateau State governor in the just concluded gubernatorial election on March 23, 2019.

He polled 595,582 votes against his rival, Gen. Jeremiah Husseini of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 546,813 votes.
