PETAN Invites Exhibitors And Sponsors For OTC 2022
The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), an association of indigenous Technical Oilfield Service Companies, providing specialised services to the upstream and downstream sectors of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, has revealed that peparations are in top gear for this year’s edition of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).
He said that PETAN invites sponsors, exhibitors and delegates to participate at the forthcoming Conference
scheduled to hold from May 2nd to 5th 2022 at the NRG Park, Houston Texas, United States of America.
“PETAN”, he said, “has been responsible for leading and hosting the Nigerian Governments Agencies and stakeholders, oil and gas companies and Nigerian investors at the prestigious Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) annually”.
On why stakeholders in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria should attend the Offshore event, Dr. Akhiwu posited that the
OTC delivers a unique experience for exhibitors and delegates to interact with global professionals as they share their insights on technological advances, energy transition, safety, environmentally- focused solutions and economic and regulatory impacts of the offshore energy sector.
“This gives individuals and  organisations an opportunity to engage with world leaders, CEOs, and government officials from around the world.
“Organisations’ attendance will create a chance to develop business relationships and tap into emerging regions that are vital to offshore development as well as obtaining recognition necessary for growth and visibility to thousands across the globe.
“At the OTC 2019, Nigeria had the fifth largest representation of over 60 participating countries. The value of participating organizations’ presence cannot be overestimated as they stand a chance to project their activities to investors and stakeholders spanning different countries.
Themed ‘Energy Transition And The Future of Africa’, the four-day event will feature a formal opening of the Nigerian Exhibition Pavilion by Nigerian Heads of Industry, a Luncheon and Panel session on the event theme,
a Nigerian Industry Awards Dinner and Cocktail, an African Local Content Collaborative Session with participants from across Africa themed ‘AfCFTA: Cross-Border Service Integration As Enabler of Project Delivery In The African Oil And Gas Industry’ and a networking golf event to round off.
The event is expected to attract oil and gas industry stakeholders from Nigeria and Africa.
