COVID-19: Ogun Set Up Panel On Reopening Of Religious Centres

Worried by the spread of deadly Coronavirus in Nigeria and beyond, the Ogun State Government has set up a panel to review the June 19 reopening of churches and mosques in the state.
Ogun State Governor, Dr. Prince Dapo disclosed at the weekend, held at the Governor office, Oke-Mosan in Ogun State.
Gov. Abiodun met the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Ogun State and the league of Imams and Alfa to know what next to do about the re-opening of church and mosque in the state, adding that member who would attend the churches and mosque should not be less or more than 26 members to ease out the deadly virus out in the state.
It would be recalled that security agencies would be drafted to all the churches and mosque to monitor the activities of the Association which both organization should comply while Saturday and Sunday lockdown was still in force until the embargo placed on it was lifted, pointing out all hands on desk to ensure that the disease was eased out of the state.
He called on all the people of the state to support the government in its effort to stop the rampaging disease out of the state.
