Gunshots As Two NURTW Factions Clash In Lagos
There was pandemonium in the Agbado area of the Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State on Friday morning when two factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers clashed in the area.
Gunshots were also heard during the conflict over ticket collection at the parks. The police in Lagos had through intelligence gathering aware of possible break down of law and order in Lagos particularly, Iyana- Ipaja and Abule-Egba area.
The Commander of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, was on a tour of show of force in the area on Wednesday and has deployed teams of anti-riot police officers to the area.
