The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has predicted sunny and hazy weather with night time temperatures of 29 to 35 degrees Celsius over the central states of the country on Thursday.
NiMet made the prediction in the Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abuja.
It also predicted that the southern states would experience cloudy to partly cloudy conditions in the morning with night time temperatures of 32 to 33 degrees Celsius.
The agency also predicted isolated thunderstorms over some areas in the coastal cities of Port Harcourt, Calabar and Eket in the evening and night hours.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions with night time temperatures of 33 to 37 degrees Celsius.
It said: “Northern part will experience hazy condition in good visibility.
“Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and isolated thunderstorms in few places around the coastal cities.”
