Real Madrid Shows Interest In Salzburg Striker, Karim Adeyemi

Real Madrid are ramping up their interest in RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi.

The 19-year-old is seen as one of the hottest transfer prospects in Europe ahead of the January transfer window.

The general feeling in Europe is that Salzburg would be forced to sell him as Adeyemi’s representatives have held talks with Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have also heightened their interest in the Germany international with Sky Deutschland reporting that the club’s football directors are looking for the opportunity to sign Adeyemi at an affordable price before his profile explodes.

Salzburg, on the other hand, may kick off their offer with a €40million asking price for the youngster.

Liverpool also showed interest in Adeyemi during last summer’s transfer window and have been tracking the striker since, with the hope of bringing him to Anfield in January.

Commenting on his links to top European clubs, Adeyemi told Heute that he feels honoured but focused with Salzburg

He said, “I’m very relaxed about it. I feel honoured, but nothing more. I have my focus here at Salzburg. We play well together. It works perfectly.

“First of all, I want to progress with Salzburg. Then we’ll look further.”

Since the start of the 2021/22 campaign, Adeyemi has scored 12 goals from 17 appearances.
