INEC Pledges Support For KWASIEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara State on Tuesday in Ilorin pledged its support for the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) for an effective discharge of duties.
Kwara INEC’s Administrative Secretary, Mr. Edibo Wada, made the pledge when the KWASIEC Chairman, Mr Okanla Baba, paid a courtesy visit to the commission.
He assured the state electoral body of INEC’s cooperation whenever the need arises.
“You should put in writing the specific areas you need assistance for the commission to seek approval from the INEC National Headquarters,” Wada said.
Earlier in his remarks, Baba had said KWASIEC officials were at the INEC office to solicit support, assistance and cooperation to enable them discharge their duties diligently
