RCCG Donates Only Dialysis Centre In Ogun State
In its contribution to tackle kidney disease in Nigeria, as well as commemorate its 3rd anniversary, the charity arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), His Love Foundation (HLF) has donated the Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) in Sagamu to the Ogun State government.
The new donation is part of HLF’s expansion of access to quality healthcare and supporting the state government’s efforts in bringing critical healthcare solutions closer to people and prevent avoidable deaths.
The donated dialysis centre, which also served to commemorate RCCG’s 69th yearly convention, has three dialysis machines, a medical water reverse osmosis purification system, and a 30KVA generator.
The donation is the 16th in the series of specialised medical interventions, Intensive Care Units (ICU), Dialysis Centres, Cancer Screening Centre, Primary Healthcare Centres donated by HLF in the country in the last three years. The Kidney Dialysis Centre is the second to be commissioned by the foundation in Ogun State in 2021.
In attendance were Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, represented by the state’s Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako Oyedele, the Secretary to the State Government, Olatokunbo Joseph Talabi, the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu and the commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker.
The General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Adeboye, represented by prof. Aboaba Folagbade Olajide, reiterated the church’s commitment to not relent on its efforts to impact lives positively, by providing spiritual and physical support to everyone, irrespective of where they are from.
