Delegates, APC Ad hoc Officials Clash As Accreditation Begins
Delegates and some ad hoc officials of the All Progressives Congress clashed at the venue of the party’s national convention on Tuesday.
However, accreditation has begun after the resolution of the misunderstanding.
The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, explained that the clash was caused by unregistered delegates.
According to him, some members of the party wanted to gain entry into the venue without being accredited.
” What makes you a delegate is the collection of tags. Those that caused the confusion claimed that they are delegates but APC state chairman and INEC officials have confirmed those that will be the delegates. They have the authentic list with them.
“We are not out of time, we are working according to the timetable,” he said.
