Conte Extends Contract
Antonio Conte has extended his contract at Chelsea until 2020 after his brilliant start to life in the Premier League, according to reports.
The Blues boss has led his team to top of the Premier League and are favourites to lift to trophy at the end of the season.
Italian publication TuttoMercatoWeb is reporting the Italian has penned a year extension to his current three-year contract.
Antonio Conte Conte, 47 moved to Stamford Bridge last summer after leaving Italy when they were knocked out of Euro 2016.
After a slow start the former Juventus boss has got his players in fine form after they were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates.
The Blues then went on a 13-match unbeaten run that was ended by Tottenham last month. But Conte’s men have rarely stumbled as they have lost just three times and built up an eight point cushion as the top of the table.
They will also face Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals next month as Conte looks for a league and cup double in his first season in England.
Conte’s switch to the 3-4-3 system has been credited with the Blues recent success.
