Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Obanikoro spent three weeks with the EFCC answering questions over his involvement in the spending of N4.7 billion released in 2014 by the Office of the National Security Adviser, then occupied by retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.
Obanikoro, according to his spokesman, Jonathan Eze, was released on Friday night.
Eze said Obanikoro was in good health, adding: “We thank all his friends and followers who supported him in prayers and supplication among others. God bless you all.”
