Although the accused person pleaded not guilty to the charges, the magistrate approved the application of the bail condition with the provision of two sureties, one who must not be less than Grade Level 15 in the civil service and the other a businessman.

The Department of State Security Services (DSS) arraigned the accused in Court 72, Normans Land Tuesday on a two-count charge of defamation and injurious falsehood.

The case was adjourned till February 5, 2020.
