APC Rakes N60m From Forms
The APC made a total of N60.5 million from the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms from the aspirants who commenced screening for the exercise Friday.
The screening exercise taking place in Abuja is to end today.
While each male aspirant paid N5.5 million each for the expression of interest and nomination forms, female aspirants were given a waiver from paying for the forms.
The aspirants who collected forms include Dr. Tony Nwoye, Chief George Moghalu, Senator Andy Uba, Paul Chukwuma, Madu Nonso, Bart Nwibe and Patrick Nwike.
Others included: Chike Obidigbo, Johnbosco Onunkwo, Adaobi Uchegbu and Uzoh Obinna.
The screening committee is headed by the deputy governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, while the secretary is Alhaji Ishaya Ibrahim. The Appeal Committee which is to sit on August 14, and 15 is headed by the Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu.
