Akinwumi Adesina Re-elected AfDB President
Former Minister of Agriculture, Akinwumi Adesina has been re-elected as the President of the African Development Bank President on Thursday.
The election took place electronically on Thursday at the virtual annual general meeting of the bank.
It would be recalled that the US president, Donald Trump had worked tirelessly to deny Adesina a second term citing allegation of corruption which was later dismissed by the two separate panel set up to look into the allegations.
