15,000 To Benefit From GFF Free Medical Intervention
In an unprecedented way to mark its 25 years anniversary, a former governor of Ogun State and current Senator, representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), has launched an extensive medical intervention across 14 locations in Ogun East Senatorial District, targeting 15,000 beneficiaries and providing close to 1,000 major and minor surgical procedures.
The initiative which started Friday 9th October, includes Redeemers Health Village, where American doctors were seen examining patients ahead of scheduled surgeries on Tuesday, October 12, 2026.
The outreach aims to expand access to medical services for residents across the senatorial district, with the planned procedures forming a major component of the anniversary intervention.
At Redeemers Health Village, medical personnel from the United States examined patients as part of preparations for surgical procedures.
The assessments are an important step in determining patients’ medical needs and suitability for surgery before treatment begins.
The involvement of the American medical team forms part of the wider effort to deliver healthcare services to beneficiaries across the participating locations.
Nearly 1,000 major and minor surgeries are also expected to be carried out under the programme.
By combining patient examinations with surgical services, the initiative seeks to address a range of medical needs among residents who stand to benefit from the outreach.
Further details about the full range of medical services, the participating locations and the final number of beneficiaries are expected to clarify the overall impact of the programme.
The medical outreach forms part of activities commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Gateway Front Foundation.
The scale of the intervention highlights the role of healthcare programmes in community-focused initiatives, particularly those designed to bring medical services closer to residents across multiple locations.
As the programme continues, the number of patients assessed and surgeries completed will help establish the extent of its reach across Ogun East when it ends on Friday 24th October.
