I’d Have Loved To Play With Ronaldo – Mbappe
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he once dreamed of playing alongside his childhood idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, but now acknowledges that this is unlikely to happen.
“Of course, I would have liked to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. It is always great to play with exceptional footballers like him or Messi. Whenever we talk about Cristiano, we also mention Messi. But I am satisfied because I have already played with many great players: Neymar, Pogba, Griezmann, Benzema…” Mbappé stated.
The French star also reflected on his admiration for Lionel Messi, with whom he shared the pitch during their time together at Paris Saint-Germain.
“I think it would have been wonderful to play with Ronaldo, but now it is already difficult. I have played against him a few times; he is a legend of the sport. I have a great relationship with Messi. I never thought I would play with him. He is unique, just like Cristiano, and in my opinion, we sometimes underestimate what they have achieved. They are legends of the sport,” Mbappé said in an interview with BeIN Sports.
In the 2024-25 season, Mbappé has made a significant impact at Real Madrid, featuring in 23 matches, scoring 13 goals, and delivering 3 assists.
