With Prayers, Hard-work, We’re Winning Osun Guber Election – PPC
The National Chairman of the Providence People’s Congress (PPC) in Osun state, Mr. Benson Adetona has given the assurance that the party’s candidate, Prof. IfeOluwa Adewumi will win the Saturday’s governorship election in the state by a landslide.
Speaking with newsmen in Osogbo Wednesday, Adetona said the party have been working hard campaigning in all the nooks and crannies of the state adding that Osun people were yearning for a change of government which only PPC could give.
PPC Chairman said Adewumi, a former chairman of Academic Staff Union of University at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is the most competent among his counterparts saying the candidate was ready to transform the state.
Adetona flayed media organizations that have organized debate for contestants for not including 43 other candidates in the exercise adding that no political party is superior to others.
“Our governorship candidate, Prof Ife Adewumi is of impeccable character and a thorough bred professional who knows his onions. He is equally standing upon an impeccable platform.
“One would have thought that equity, justice and fairness would be the organizer’s watch-word – But Alas! They wasted no time in throwing that overboard by denying 43 other contestants an opportunity to be heard and present their programmes of action to the people for fair assessment,” he averred.
Also speaking, the governorship candidate of PPC, Prof. Adewumi, promised to empower youths, create employment and galvanise the economy and turn the fortune of the state around.
Adewumi said PPC would not align with other opposition parties. He said he would win Saturday’s election convincingly.
