We Killed Adeyemi Students Because We Were Promised N15m -Suspects

Suspected ritualists arrested by the men of the  Ondo State Police Command have said that they were contracted to kill the students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, for a sum of N15 million .
The suspects said that the price at which they sell the human parts attracted them to the business.
The suspects are John Adenitire, 30 years, also known as Emir, Fisayo Fasanu popularly called Abore and Abdulrafiu Tijani, an herbalist .
The suspected ritualists and 15 other suspected armed robbers were paraded by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr.  Gbenga Adeyanju at the command headquarters in Igbatoro road, Akure, the state capital.
Two students of the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Miss Oladepo Blessing and Oluwasemilore Mary had earlier been declared missing until their decomposing bodies were found in the bush.
While parading them, one of the suspects, John Adenitire said he was introduced to the business by one of his friends known as Fisayo Fasanu.
According to him, “I was in my house when ‘Abore’ told me he has business for me. He said they want to do ritual. I said what they wanted to do was powerful. They said there was not going to be any problem.
“The second day, around 9.30 pm, we went for the job, two girls and one boy. We picked the two girls and took them into the bush, we removed the left breast and the left hand and took them to the herbalists. We left the other parts in the bush.
“We have a friend known as Shile, he was the one who took the parts of the ladies to a particular ritualist at Ijebu Igbo and the other one at Ore.

“Shile is our leader. He was the one who recruited others into the business.  Shile and Abore were the ones who said the man who needs the parts has promised to pay us N15 million”.

He said that the money that was promised them was yet to get to them when they were arrested by the police.
