Wasiu Akanbi Unveils ‘Money Rituals’
Youthful and prolific Fuji musician, Prince Wasiu Akanbi Oriyomi, otherwise called ‘Surprise’ will unveil his new album titled ‘Money Rituals’ on Sunday, 27 August, 2017.
The formal presentation of the nine-track album is billed to hold at Maternity Centre Playing Ground, Malete, Idere, Ibarapa Central Local government area of Oyo State, southwest Nigeria.
Tracks on the ‘Money Rituals’ album, which promises to surpass his debut and sophomore albums titled ‘Surprise’ and ‘Encouragement, which were dropped in 2009 and 2015 respectively include ‘Ayatun Bilamoli’, ‘Olorun Funmilowo’, ‘Ogun Owo (Money Ritual)’, the title track, ‘Bose Nsun’ and ‘Akanbi Tide’ among others.
The Kakaki Fuji Worldwide Wasiu Akanbi Oriyomi hails from Idere, Ibarapa Central Local government area of Oyo State, southwest Nigeria and holds NCE in Sociology/Yoruba from Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State which he obtained in 2011.
