Unveiled: The Amazon Of Nigeria Gospel Music

Victoria, the leader of Hadaza Harmony Gospel Music, can be labeled as an Amazon of this generation as she is set to storm the gospel music terrain.
“My music started when I was in primary four”, she said. “They chose me as a chapel prefect, which was contrary to the rule because prefects are usually chosen from primary five because they saw that I can sing before the public, and I don’t feel shy to sing. It also happened that while I was in secondary school, I was also chosen as a prefect when I was in J.S Three.Though I started professionally two years ago, with the help and encouragement from my husband, I am also an event planner, decorator, teacher and I attend cherubim and seraphim “

On where she got her inspiration, she says “I got my inspiration from God  and my husband pushed me to also go deep. I have something special from others.

On her latest album, she revealed ‘ite orun’ was my latest album. I took the title from revelation. We want people to know that there is plenty things in heaven”
She also revealed her experience in the hands of men who claimed to be men of God. “Someone called me three weeks ago that they have Christian club that can I come to the club to come and play and I said I can’t do that. Gospel artistes should not start with money. The man said that he will pay me two million and I know what he wants is more than that.
“Another one called me from Abuja and said that he will pay me big money but I should come two days before the event that I will  be lodged in a hotel with him. I told him I can t do that. I went for one event, and was given an envelope afterwards. When I opened it, I saw 3500 naira.
“I was not bothered, because I was happy that people received blessing. The Bola Ares of this world never demanded money when they started but now they know their worth. They are enjoying their fame because money was not their watch word when they started”.
