Tinubu Celebrates Dr Ezughah, NPC Boss At 65
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Press Council (NPC), Dr Dili Ezughah, on his 65th birthday, acknowledging his decades of contributions to journalism, public communication and national development.
President Tinubu commended the celebrant for his commitment to the growth and advancement of the Nigerian press, particularly his efforts to promote professionalism, ethical conduct, responsibility, and adherence to the standards expected of the media as a critical institution of democracy.
The President recognised Ezughah’s career as a testament to the enduring value of professionalism, dedication, and service to the country.
He described Ezughah’s 65th birthday as an opportunity to celebrate not only his personal achievement but also his contributions to the development of Nigeria’s media landscape.
“Through your service at the Nigeria Press Council and your broader contributions to the media profession, you have continued to play a role in strengthening the standards, ethics and responsibilities that underpin a credible press.
“As our nation continues to deepen its democratic institutions, the role of a professional, ethical and responsible media cannot be overemphasised.
“I commend your commitment to this important national responsibility, and I wish you renewed strength, wisdom and good health as you continue to contribute to the development of our nation and the advancement of Nigerian Press,” the President says.
