Yewa North Will Benefit From On-going Teachers Recruitment- OGSG

Towards repositioning and resuscitating the education sector, Ogun State government has approved the recruitment of 1,500 teachers to fill existing vacancies in the State’s Public Primary and Secondary Schools, in order to ensure quality and boost academic pursuit of the children.
The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who disclosed this during the 2019 Ayetoro-Yewa Day and launch of N250 million Development fund, said the people of Yewa North and Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency would be considered in the ongoing recruitment of teachers in the State.
Governor Abiodun, who was represented by the Special Adviser on Housing, Chief Jamiu Omoniyi, enjoined all qualified indigenes of the area to apply online, through the Ogun State job portal to partake in the scheme, saying about 10 different Schools in the Local Government had benefited from the ongoing renovation of schools in all 236 wards of the State.
While pointing out that United Primary School (UPS), Ayetoro and Yewa North Local Government Primary School, Igbo Aje, were being renovated, Prince Abiodun said the Council area would be considered in the rehabilitation of deplorable roads, especially the Lafenwa-Olorunda-Ayetoro, Ayetoro-Olodo roads.
Earlier, the Chairman, Central Ayetoro-Yewa Day Organising Committee (CAYDOY), Chief Kunle Amosun said government’s commitment to elevating people’s standard of living through job creation, rejuvenation of the health and education sectors, infrastructural renewal, industrialisation, among others, were highly commendable.
Speaking in an interview, a member, representing Yewa North/ Imeko Afon Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Olaifa Aremu, congratulated the Alaye of Aiyetoro, Oba Abd’Azeez Akinola II, as well as sons and daughters of the town for witnessing another celebration of the cultural heritage of the land.
He enjoined the people of Ayetoro and the State, in general, to cooperate and support the present administration to deliver more dividends of democracy.
