Tambuwal, Masari, Ooni Visit Aregbesola Over Mum’s Death

The Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Aminu Masari, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, have urged Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to take solace in the fact that his late mother led a fulfilled life.

The Governors and the monarch made this call when they paid a condolence visit to Governor Aregbesola in Osogbo over the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola.

In their separate remarks, Governor Masari described death as the only natural phenomenon whose power of exigency in taking souls is beyond human imagination.

He described the death of Aregbesola’s mother as God’s wish that can never be overturned, submitting that Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola was taken at the best time.

Governor of Sokoto State, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal described death as the only inevitable thing in life, saying every soul will definitely die as there is no shortcut to death.

He commended Governor Aregbesola for providing good leadership in the state, saying his role in nation’s building is phenomenal.

Also, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, described Governor Aregbesola as a symbol of childhood to parents.

While describing the demise of Aregbesola’s mother as a colossal loss to the state, Ooni Ogunwusi lauded Aregbesola for taking good care of his mother throughout her lifetime.

He said Aregbesola has distinguished himself as a child whose passion for his parents’ well-being can never be undermined, as it was manifested in his love and compassion for his mother while alive.

Oba Ogunwusi said the role played by Aregbesola’s mother in bequeathing a viable future for her children through good education and inculcation of moral values remains a lesson for all to imbibe so as to have a good exit.

Responding, Governor Aregbesola attributed his extreme love for his mother to his understanding of the relevance, purpose and significance of a mother to a child’s success in life.

He said his decision to love his mother ‎was born out of the Quranic injunction which mandates every child to care for and love his or her parents, most especially the mother, for him or her to succeed in life.
