Seyi Shay Announces Engagement
Seyi Shay might be walking down the aisle soon after announcing her engagement.
Speaking in an interview with Beat FM, the Big Girl singer confirmed that she said YES!
The interviewer had asked her about the diamond ring she had on her finger and how she got it.
Showing off the ring, she responded, “Some guy gave it to me and said, ‘hey would you marry me?”
“It’s a diamond ring for real, and it’s forever,” she continued.
The pregnant singer confirmed her engagement to be one of the reasons she has been glowing.
“I was already glowing before I met him; if I was not a package, I wouldn’t have said yes,” She said.
While the singer is yet to reveal the identity of her husband-to-be, it is clear that she is in love.
The music star who is also pregnant has not revealed the identity of the lucky man she is about to walk down the aisle with.
Late last year, the former Nigerian Idol judge released her second studio album Big Girl.
Speaking to Guardian Life, Seyi Shay described the album as a defining moment for her.
“I’d say this new project coming out is definitely a defining moment for me. It’s a body of work that I’ve been wanting to create for years. Musically, I’m in my element, and I’ve never been so brutally honest with lyrics and emotions in a song in my life.”
While the music star wasn’t listed as one of the judges for the seventh edition of The Nigerian Idol, fans wouldn’t forget her fierce and blunt comments during the sixth season of the talent show so soon.
