Sani Bello Commends NMS For Sustaining Standard

Niger State Governor, Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello has commended the management of the Nigeria Military School, Zaria for maintaining and sustaining the high standard set by the founding fathers of the institution.

The governor who gave the commendation on Monday at the institution’s 65th Founder’s Day celebration in Zaria, acknowledged their commitment and determination at ensuring the proper training of students in the insitution.

Governor Sani Bello, an ex-boy of the school, attested to level of discipline inculcated into the students by the school.

He proudly said, “as a product of this great institution, I can testify to the standard of training given in the school and from my findings, the management and staff have sustained the standard”.

He singled out the Commandant of the school, Major General Muktar Mohammed Bunza, for ensuring the maintenance of the school facility and for putting in place new ones in order to provide for a conducive learning environment for the students.

The governor who was the special guest of honor at the ceremony said, “as we celebrate the 65th founder’s day of the Nigeria Military School, I want to recognize and commend the efforts of the management and staff of the school for their immense contribution in training the students.

“As a parent, I know what it means to leave your child for somebody to train. The management and staff of NMS are doing extremely well in their job of training these children and have maintained and sustained the high standard the school is noted for since it’s inception”.
The Governor then called on management to to ensure they continue to put in their best in ensuring proper training of the student and charged the ex-boys to ensure they contribute their quota to the development and growth of the institution as part efforts of showing their gratitude to the school.
He however charged the students of the institution to put in their best in their academic pursuit, maintain good character, integrity and behaviour so as to enable them become public figures in the society.
The Commandant of the school, Major General Muktar Mohammed Bunza attributed the success recorded to the support the school had been attracting from the military high command, ex-boys and the Parent Teachers Association of the school and other stakeholders.
He was full praises to the Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello for constructing hostel to help address accommodation challenges being faced by the school.
