Polls: We Have Evidence To Show Exercise Was Manipulated – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is bent on heading to court to seek redress in the recently conducted Presidential elections, saying records at its disposal show that the exercise was manipulated in favour of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Briefing newsmen at the party’s Presidential Campaign headquarters on Friday, national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus said despite a meeting between the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the National Peace Committee, the party would go to court to demand for justice.

Secondus accused the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government of deliberate harassment of the electorate in PDP strongholds during the polls, adding that as a result, voters who ordinarily would have turned up to vote stayed away from the exercise.

For the umpteenth time, the party said “authentic figures” obtained by its agents at various polling units showed that its candidate, Alhaji Atiku clearly won the election.
