Police Nab 51-year Old Father For Defiling 6-yr Old Daughter
A 51-year-old man has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly defiling his six-year-old daughter.
It was learnt that the suspect, Udo Akpan, a resident of Modupe St., off Balogun St., Ikeja was reported to the police by a Faith base organization that he was always putting his fingers in his daughter’s private part.
Confirming his arrest, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgar said the Gender Section of the Command discovered that the suspect brought the survivor to Lagos from Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State where she was living with her mother sometime in January 2018.
It was further gathered that the suspect usually keep the child with one woman the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) anytime he is going to work.
According to the Lagos CP, based on credible information on May 23rd 2018 the suspect came to pick his daughter and the little girl refused to follow him.
“When asked why she doesn’t want to follow her father, she narrated the sexual ordeal she was going through in the hands of her father.” The CP said.
Edgal said the suspect during interrogation blamed his deeds on the devil.
