Osun Police Command Nabs Rapist, Murderer, Others
Osun State Police Command Thursday paraded no fewer than seven suspects arrested for various criminal activities.
Parading the suspects at Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo, the Commissioner of Police, Babatunde Kokumo appealed to the citizens of the state to assist police by reporting promptly criminal acts in their area.
The CP said “on arrival from the farm, she discovered that her daughter (victim) was not cheerful as usual and having moved closer to where she was helplessly lying down, she noticed that the victim was
bleeding.
“Upon receipt of the complaint, Police swung into action and arrested the suspect who confessed to the crime during the course of the investigation. The victim was taken to hospital for medical examination and treatment where she is still receiving treatment as the medical
examination reveals that there was extensive laceration into the rectum.
Speaking with our Correspondent, Adeyele Olusesan who claimed that the mother of the minor is his friend blamed his dastardly act on the devil.
Also paraded was Idowu Adejare who allegedly murdered one 35-year-old James Yankume at Ikotu village, Awo over a misunderstanding and went further to behead the victim.
Adejare who confessed to newsmen said he did not know what came over him when he was carrying out his evil deed.
CP Kokumo said all the paraded suspects will soon be charged to court on conclusion of investigation.
