PMB Nominates 5 Non Executive Directors For CBN Board
President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated five non executive Directors pf the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
President Buhari, in a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by his special adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina said that in accordance with Sections 6 (1) (d) and 10 (1) and (2) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (Establishment) Act, 2007, the President has forwarded the list of his nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
In the letter to the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Adesina said the names contained in the letter are Professor Ummu Ahmed Jalingo-North east,
Professor Justitia Odinakachukwu Nnabuko – South East, Professor Mike I. Obadan – South South, Dr. Abdu Abubakar – North West and Adeola Adetunji – South West.
