Oyo Labour Leaders Commend Ajimobi On Salaries Payment
The Oyo State Public Service Joint Negotiating Council has commended Governor Abiola Ajimobi for the continuous payment of salaries and pensions in the state, saying that his leadership has no rival for opening the State to global influence and recognition in all areas.
The JNC made this commendation in an appreciation letter sent to the governor and signed by its State Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Ogundiran and Comrade Dupe Adewoye respectively.
The PSJNC noted that the continuous payment of salaries/pensions especially offsetting two months consecutively for three months now was nothing but a reflection of the Governor Ajimobi’s magnanimity, strong will, love and commitment to the welfare of workers in the state.
The JNC said, “The leadership of the PSJNC and the entire workers in Oyo State are grateful to Your Excellency for continuous payment of salaries and pensions in the State. We wish to acknowledge, without reservation this continuous payment and we are, therefore, using this medium to express our profound gratitude for keeping faith with workers in the State.
“It is not arguable that your leadership has no rival for opening Oyo State to global influence and recognition in all areas that enhance the welfare of the people of the State. We pledge our total loyalty and support to your Excellency and your government,” the JNC added.
The JNC also congratulated the Governor on the conferment of an honorary Doctorate Degree by the authority of the University of Ado –Ekiti.
“We are happy that the authorities of the University correctly identified a man of impeccable integrity in the service of our nation and a man of multi-dimensional intellectual, spiritual, academic and moral capacity. You have made us proud,” the JNC stressed.
