“It is for these reasons that the Peoples Democratic Party has resolved to provide a better, credible, sustainable and people-friendly alternative set of programmes and policies to restore our dear state to the path of economic prosperity, social emancipation and general wellbeing of all and sundry.”
Adagunodo however stated that the party 6-point agenda of restoration is anchored on the following:
Economic Rejuvenation, Agricultural Revolution, Restructured Education System, Improved Worker’s welfare & Conditions of Service, Improved Health care Delivery with Motivated & Equipped Health Workers and Improved Road and Water Infrastructure.
Also speaking at the occasion, the party flagbearer, Senator Adeleke pledged economic rejuvenation immediately he assumed office saying, he would engage in negotiation that would achieve comprehensive debt restructuring which would release funds to the state.
He stressed also that his administration would encourage stimulation of local economy and investment drive in a safe operating environment.
The party flag bearer further maintained that he would embark on agricultural revolution that would provide affordable food for all, local wealth creation across the state and market linkages that would be focussed on production of bulk buyers and agricultural value chain development and processing centres.
