Osun Police Command Rescues 4 OSCOTECH Staff From Kidnappers
Osun State Police Command has rescued from the den of kidnappers the remaining four staff of the Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) Esa-Oke abducted last Tuesday evening.
Though no arrest have been made, Odoro said policemen are still on the trail of the kidnappers.
Her words: “the remaining victims have been released and reunited with their families efforts is being intensified to get the hoodlums apprehended”
During the rescue operation according to the PPRO, one of the policemen received gun shot during exchange of bullets between the police and the kidnappers.
She noted that the injured policeman is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Recalled that the kidnappers suspected to be herdsmen in their operation along Esa-Oke/Ijebu-jesa road last Tuesday evening shot down a senior staff of the institution, Mr. Ebenezer Olaniyi and abducted no fewer than six others.
Two of the victims were earlier rescued through the efforts of members of the Oodua Peoples Congress in the community led by one Kara.
