Osinbajo, Prominent Nigerians Storm Osun For Aregbesola’s Late Mum’s 8th-day Fidau Prayer

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and many other prominent Nigerians Tuesday converged at Ilesa, Osun State for the Fida’u prayer of Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, the mother of Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola.
Delivering his lecture titled ‘Prepare For Life After Death’, Alhaji Abdulhameed Taofeek urged everybody to be fully prepared for Aljanah (Paradise), adding that what can qualify anyone to make it to Paradise resides in him.
He noted that no matter how highly placed anybody may be in the society, the end of the road for every creature is death, and charged all and sundry to move closer to Allah to guarantee his entry into His Jannah.
He charged leaders to always have their followers at heart while in positions of authority, adding that what Alhaja Aregbesola did while alive was speaking for her on earth and in heaven even after her death.

Dignitaries at the event include the first interim chairman of APC, Chief Adebisi Akande, Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi  Akeredolu; Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosu, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Minister for Mines Mineral Development, Mr. Kayode Fayemi.

Also in attendance were the Anglican Bishop of Osun Diocese, Rt. Reverend Afolabi Popoola, Alfaas and Immams, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Ogiyan Of Ejigbo, Oba Oyeyode Oyesosin, Oluwo Of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Former Chairman Of EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, Mr.Odia Ofeimu, Former governor of Ekiti state, Niyi Adebayo, former deputy governor of Oyo state, Barrister Iyiola Oladokun.
Others include, the former Chief of Army Staff, General Alani Akinrinade, former Inspector General of Police,  Musiliu  Smith, former Speaker of House Of Representatives, Mrs. Foluke Etteh, former governor of Ogun state, Olusegun Osoba, former publicity secretary of the NPN, Chief Abiola Ogundokun among numerous others.
