Oranmiyan Group Chides Obasanjo Over Statement On Buhari
The Oranmiyan group, has asked Nigerians not take former President Olusegun Obasanjo serious over his statement that there is no difference between the administrations of President Muhammadu Buhari and that of General Sanni Abacha in his new letter.
The group noted that Obasanjo will soon eat his words just the way he ate his statements on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar adding that Obasanjo is free to express his opinion while Nigerians are wise enough to determine the veracity of his utterances.
Speaking at the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osogbo, Osun State capital, during a courtesy visit by the new executives of the group, the Director General, Mr. Olajide Sadiq, said President Buhari has not done anything undemocratic since his assumption of duty as President.
He recalled that the same Obasanjo that said that God should punish him if he support Atiku, is now supporting him, forgetting that he has cursed himself.
The group also assured that Governor Gboyega Oyetola will perform well “even better than the former Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.
He noted that Aregbesola’s administration has improved security of the state that residence can now sleep with two eyes closed and their doors opened.
The group however called for support of the media for the administration of Oyetola by reporting him accurately.
