Omoworare Joins Osun Guber Race
The Senator representing Osun East, Hon. Babajide Omoworare has joined other aspirants jostling for the governorship ticket under the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun state.
Omoworare who is the incumbent Senator representing Osun East Senatorial district said he has decided to offer himself for service in another dimension because he has what it takes to govern the state.
Speaking at the party Secretariat in Osogbo, the state capital, Omoworare promised to give priority to security, health and education if elected Governor of the state come September 22 this year.
According to Omoworare, all requirements in terms of education and exposure, have made him the best choice to get the party’s ticket.
He promised to make judicious use of the available resources in the state to govern with less dependence on the federal allocation.
The two term Senator said he would increase the Internal Revenue without inflicting hardships on the people of the state, if elected.
According to him, “Osun Osogbo festival, Olojo of Ife and Iwude-Ijesa of Ilesa, would be planned to attract investors in the tourism sector.
In his response, the chairman of the party, Prince Gboyega Famoodun enjoined the aspirant to continue to work assiduously for the victory of the party in his constituency.
Famoodun who assured the aspirant of level playing ground during gubernatorial primary urged party faithfuls to support whosoever emerged at the end of the day.
