Oyetola Has Good Intentions- Oke
A member of House of Representatives, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal constituency, Hon Oluwole Oke, who was reelected for the fourth term on the platform of PDP has promised that he would use the opportunity to ensure synergy between Osun state government  and the Federal government.
Oke who spoke with newsmen in Osogbo noted that it is obvious that the Oyetola led APC government in Osun State has good intentions but lack commensurate fund to pursue the dreams adding that he would work closely with the State government to get those dreams realized.
He noted that though the road to his victory was tough, it did not come to him as a surprise because his relationship with the people of his community has given him opportunity to know their problems, promising never to disappoint them.
Oke said, “those I have helped sponsored my election. I didn’t print a poster. Care, kindness, affection and development are what Ijesa people need, and this I have been able to achieve.
Speaking on the performance of INEC, he said “we are improving. Kudos to INEC and security agencies. We as legislators would continue to put INEC on their toes. It is embarrassing that we are still using manual till now.
“Nigeria democracy has become very stable because we are moving to the ninth assembly.
With members with cognate experience who have had knowledge of about five or sixth consecutive term, the ninth assembly is going to be robust.
He blamed the executive on the problem at the NASS, saying “rather than focus on development and progress of the country, they focused more on fighting. It is the executive that was waging war against their members. They are unable to manage their success.
“I have assessed the financial constraints of Osun state. I will try to effect a synergy between the state and the federal government.
Speaking on the speakership position, Oke said “though, there are senior like Femi Gbajabiamila and myself, but, having had the grace of becoming the Deputy speaker, Hon Lasun Yusuf would have become the speaker of the House of Representatives, if his party, APC, had fielded him.
