Ogun House Of Rep Aspirant Promises Better Representation

A chieftain of Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) and Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal House of Representatives aspirant in Ogun State, Hon, Adebayo Abiodun Adeyemi has vowed to make good representation of its Federal constituency if elected into the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

Adeyemi made this known while fielding questions from Journalists at a flag off ‎campaign of the party at Imeko-Afon Local government area of the state.

He said that legislation for the development of the agricultural sector of the economy would be his priority as it was known that the area was nearness to the border which would bring about more advantages for the constituents if empowered them on agriculture.

He also added that development of industry, promotions of commerce ‎with focus on development of Small Medium Enterprise and international relations for the growth of the area would liberate people of that border areas instead of engaging in shoddy jobs like oil bunkering and rice smuggling.

“When there is no much job for the people living in border areas, they will usually engage in bunkering and smuggling which is very inimical to their own life too, but when we put things in a right channel, you will see that, they will voluntarily jettison the illegal jobs for legal ones”‎, Adeyemi said.

He said that the attainment of self sufficient in the food production and security make people live a normal life‎, and the APM party ready to bring all these to reality, adding that promotion of Non-oil export and development of the industrial sector would create more employment generation for the teeming youths.

‎He said making laws which was the major function of the House of Representatives as an arm of National Assembly, section 58(1) of the 1999 Constitution would be a major target of his representation, so as to let his constituents have a sense of belonging instead of being there without a major contribution.

He urged the people of his federal constituency to troop out en masse and vote for all the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM)‎ candidates on the incoming elections, in order to make the state get to the greater height and make the people of their area enjoy the dividend of democracy.

“It is better to make a good choice by voting for all APM candidates at all levels for this incoming elections and to continue the good work of our Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration, so as to sustain the Mission to rebuild the state”‎, Adeyemi added.
