Nollywood Actor, Baba Suwe Critically Sick

Versatile Yoruba comedy and Nollywood star actor, Alhaji Nurudeen Babatunde Omidina, popularly called Baba Suwe’s health is reportedly in critical condition as he has been hit with a major health challenge, making him redundant.
According to information made available to the media by Yomi Fabiyi, Baba Suwe’s condition cannot be unconnected to his ordeal while in detention with the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) about six years ago.
Fabiyi, a close ally of the actor, revealed that the rather hard torture carried out by the officers of the NDLEA on Baba Suwe while he was detained by them has damaged his health status as he has not been himself since the alleged drug peddling investigation period.
He disclosed that currently, the comedian that graced television screens can no longer stand firm as he has been unable to move about or go out, even to movie locations where he can carry out his craft to enable him cater for himself and his children.
Yomi however blamed officers of the NDLEA for making Baba Suwe go through rigorous and unnecessary process to ascertain that he was not guilty of the suspicion of carrying drugs.
