Nani Joins Lazio On Loan
Lazio have signed Portugese winger Nani on loan with option to buy. “Valencia CF have reached an agreement this Thursday with SS Lazio for the loan of Luis Carlos Almeida da Cunha ‘Nani’ for one season,” read their statement.
“The Italian club will have the option to buy the Portuguese footballer at the end of the loan period.”
Rumours began to emerge Thursday that the Biancocelesti were in for the former Manchester United man, and the deal advanced quickly. Nani arrived this morning to take his medical, and the Aquile have now officially confirmed his signing.
“S.S. Lazio announces the signing of the Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha ‘Nani’ from Valencia, on loan with the right to buy,” the statement on Lazio’s official website confirmed.
It’s not clear if that option would become mandatory in certain conditions, as Valencia have not yet announced the transfer.
