MOSA Celebrates 40 Years Anniversary And Gala Nite

It was all paparazzi and glamour last week Sunday, 10 December, 2017, at LTV 8, Combo Hall, Agidingbin, Ikeja, Lagos, when the 1973/77 set of Mayflower Old Students Association (MOSA) celebrated their 40th anniversary and gala night.
The celebration brought together all the ex-students in Nigeria and the diaspora, most of whom are making strides in their respective professions.
Mr. Adeshina Odeyemi, who is a permanent secretary, Civic Engagement in the Lagos state Civil Service is the chairman of the 1977 set and he spoke glowingly about the set.
“We left school in 1977, we are celebrating, we feel fulfilled, the training that Tai Solarin gave us, which is giving back to society, is what we have been doing. As we speak, we have done many things for the school. In the past, we have done so many projects in the school. At a time, we renovated the classrooms. We also gave an award to the principal of the school and to some teachers and students who have been performing excellently well in some core subjects and we are not going to rest on our oars.
“We still plan that during the long vacation, we are still going to do more, but today, we are celebrating because its been 40 years that we left school the Lord has kept us together in good health and most of us are doing well in our respective endeavors so we feel it is good for us to celebrate with our family members and friends”.
