Mo Abudu Charges On Realistic Business Ideas At Fidelity SME Forum

Media entrepreneur and founder of Ebony Life TV and Films, Mo Abudu has charged young aspiring entrepreneurs to ensure that their business ideas are in tandem with the realities of the market they are in.

Abudu who was the guest on the Fidelity SME Forum yesterday noted that often times, “the business ideas that the millennials have may not be grounded in the realities of the times that we are in and it is important that your ideas are well grounded.

“Young ones need to stay focused. It is important to have a plan that is realistic. It is important to look at Nigeria as a market and find those opportunities for what they can create within the reality of the market today.”

Describing her launch out into the media and film industry, she said “leaving paid employment to start out on my own was scary, but one had to take the plunge. In taking the plunge, you have to make sure your ideas are grounded realistic and that you have to ability to execute them. You also need to identify your unique selling point.”

On the Fidelity SME Forum, Mo Abudu said the forum which holds on Inspiration FM on Tuesdays provides a platform to discuss the successes of entrepreneurs and gives aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to speak with those with experience.

“The forum ensures that we understand the key principles that support business development and growth and people can lean from successful businesses the things that work and their mistakes because mistakes are for people to learn from.”
