Mighty Jets Chairman sacks coaches, advertises vacancies

Chief Alexander Wukari, the newly appointed Chairman of Mighty Jets FC of Jos, has sacked the entire coaching crew of the club and advertised the vacancies.
The club’s Media Officer, Ferdinand Mbum, said in a statement on Thursday in Jos that the decision approved by the management was to reposition it for better productivity next season.
The statement quoted Wukari as urging coaches who are interested in the jobs to submit their applications within the next four days.
According to the statement, the sacked coaches of the main squad as well as the feeder team who are still interested in working with the 1972 topflight champions can re-apply.
It will be the recalled that the President of Mighty Jets, Alhaji Ismaila Mabo, dissolved the Godfrey Hamza-led board and reconstituted a new one on November 6, 2016.
Hamza inaugurated the new management with a charge to take the club to the Nigeria Professional Football League within their four-year tenure.
The newly appointed chairman had in his acceptance speech on behalf of other members promised to do everything humanly possible to take Mighty Jets to the NPFL.
