Marketing Edge Team Departs For Loeries Awards Coverage

Marketing Edge Publications Ltd, an avant garde all colour glossy monthly marketing and advertising magazine has sent a two-man delegate to cover this year’s edition of Loeries Creative Awards in Durban, South Africa.

The delegation being led by the Publisher/ Chief Executive Officer of the publication, Mr. John Ajayi, also has the General Manager of the company, Mr. Anniete Udoh on the trip, which will last for two weeks.

Recall that the magazine was fully on ground last year to give full editorial coverage to the event, which has become an annual creativity initiative in the continent.

With the outstanding coverage of the last year edition, Loeries Awards Company, a continental creative ranking company and organisers of the awards, renewed media partnership with the market leading brands and advertising publication.

Renewing the partnership during his visit to Nigeria earlier in the year, Loeries Awards Company CEO, Mr. Andrew Human said: “We are delighted to work with Marketing Edge again, based on the fruitful relationship we had last year”.

He noted that the brilliant outcome of its partnership with Marketing Edge last year enabled the company gain an unprecedented awareness and penetration amongst local creative agencies .This, Human attributed to the high equity rating of the marketing publication.

While fewer agencies participated during the last edition, the story has changed as no fewer than ten agencies have submitted entries for creative ranking while some are sending delegates to observe the continental creative contest.

In a statement , the publisher of Marketing Edge, Mr. John Ajayi said, “the magazine is poised to robustly and aggressively cover this year‘s award like no other media organization would do”, pointing out that “all plans have been perfected to ensure this”.

Besides, Ajayi hinted that it becomes very important for Marketing Edge to show distinction in the coverage, as that will confirm to Loeries Awards Company that it has not made any mistake in the choice of a media partner.
