Man Arraigned For Stealing Phones, Laptop  From Mosque
For stealing phones from a mosque in Osogbo, a 24-year old man, Olatunde Rhaman was yesterday arraigned before an Osun State Magistrate Court in Osogbo.
Rahaman who is facing three count charge pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Police Prosecutor, Fagboyinbo Abiodun alleged that Rhaman  entered Kosemani Mosque on the 17th of March, 2017 and stole four phones and a Laptop.
According to him, the phones and laptop belong to some students who were charging them in the mosque.
He named Bolarinwa Adekunle, Adetola Mubarak, Aderanti Adedotun and Usman Suliyat as the owners of the materials.
Abiodun added that Rhaman also broke into the house of one Rafiu Saheed and one Sunday Victor on the same day and stole their phones.
He said the offences allegedly committed by Rhaman contravened sections 390 (9), 412, 415 and section 516 of Criminal Cope Cap, Volume II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.
However, Rhaman counsel, Mrs Raji Abiodun prayed the court to grant her client bail in the most liberal terms.
In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Olusola Aluko granted the accused person the bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum as he adjourned the case till the 25th of April, 2017.
