Liverpool, Barcelona Agrees Fee of £108.8m For Coutinho
Liverpool have reportedly agreed to sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £108.8million.
A group from Barca according to reports flew over to Liverpool on Monday for detailed talks with Liverpool bosses after two failed bids.
Chief executive Oscar Grau headed the delegation, who have been desperate to get a deal done for Coutinho as they seek to replace Neymar in the Barca squad.
The Brazilian made his decision to move known to the club.
This decision softened the club’s stance and it has now been revealed that they have reluctantly agreed a fee for the player.
The deal will see an initial fee of £81.6m being paid for the 25-year-old – although publicly the club are still briefing no deal has been agreed.
