Ilobu Community Lauds Oyetola Over Road Project
Ilobu Community in Irepodun local government area of Osun State has lauded Governor Adegboyega Oyetola over the rehabilitation of Osogbo/Ilobu road.
Addressing newsmen on Saturday in Ilobu as part of programmes for the 30th Ilobu Day celebrations, the National President, Ilobu Asake Development, Union, IDU, Pastor Olufemi Salako however pleaded for the rehabilitation of Laaro bridge which they claimed has become a death trap.
Also, the community pleaded with the Federal Government to complete the new Ojutu Bridge which has been opened for vehicular traffic but awaiting completion as contained in a memo by the contractor to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing which is an attestation to the development.
Highlighting events for the One-week celebrations, Pastor Salako disclosed that no fewer than 100 indigenes have registered for free healthcare programme slated for Wednesday 9th of November while the grand finale expected to be witnessed by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will come up on Saturday, 12th of 2022.
Pastor Salako who quoted “People’s Development is National Development” as the theme for 2022 celebration noted that the annual celebration is a unifying force for the progress and development of Ilobu among indigenes of the ancient town.
 He assured investors of friendly environment that guarantees profitable investments adding that IDU is committed to partnering with interested investors for easy access to factors of production that abounds abundantly.
“The Ilobu-Asake Development Union hereby calls on well-meaning individuals and investors to capitalize on these available opportunities to invest in our community. The IDU will partner to provide friendly environment for every business in our community” Salako posited.
