Ijebu ife Day Celebrations 2026 Goes Agog
Activities marking this year’s Ijebu Ife Day Celebrations will kick off from Tuesday ,6thOctober with series of exciting programmes i.e Health Walk, Medical Outreach, Indoor games , Woro, School Debate / Quiz ,Carnival , Marathon Race, Beauty Peagant and Football Competition( Final) sponsored by IMBIL Telecoms
The school quiz/debate will hold on Tuesday ,7th October while the Marathon Race, Indoor Games and Medical Outreach have been fixed for Wednesday,8th October 2026
Medical Outreach continues on Thursday,9th October , with the Final Football Competition which will take place at Ijebu Ife Community Grammar School by 4pm prompt
On Friday 9th October, the ceremony starts with Woro , thereafter ,Jumat Service at Central Mosque, Ijebu Ife, immediately followed with Carnival and Ikokore Night / Miss Ijebu Ife Beauty Peagant packaged by IMBIL Telecoms which holds at the Ajalorun Palace, Legacy Hall from 7pm prompt
The Grand Finale and homage to our revered monarch, HRH Oba Adesesan Afolorunso Oguntayo FCA JP, Ajalorun of Ijebu Ife, is fixed for Saturday 10th October at Ajalorun Palace, Ijebu Ife
Apala king , Alhaji Musiliu Haruna Isola, and Lufemi and African Band will thriill guests and indigenes.
The Thanksgiving Service will round up a weeklong activities on Sunday 11th October,2026
